Blaise Meanor (Billy Elliot) is thrilled to perform as Billy Elliot in his first professional show Billy Elliot The Musical. His past credits include Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast Jr. and Young Simba in The Lion King Jr. both presented by the Seneca Valley Middle School. Other previous roles include Ryan Evans in High School Musical Jr. and Lank Hawkins in Crazy for You Jr. both presented by Keystone State Music Theater Academy. He is very passionate about musical theater. Blaise would like to thank his parents for all the love and support they provide. He would also like to thank his sisters and other family members. Finally, Blaise would like to thank all his KSMT teachers and fantastic director, Mr. Chris, for the support they provide.
Chelsea Bartel (Mrs Wilkerson) is thrilled to be back with KSMT! She performed in their inaugural season as “Mrs. Pinkerton” in Pinkalicious and has been an instructor at the Cranberry Parks & Rec for the last two years. Favorite roles: Next to Normal (Diana), Marvelous Wonderettes (Suzy), Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Yitzhak)
Dylan Baughman (Big Davey / us/ Tony) is ecstatic to be bringing the story of Billy Elliot to life. He is a recent graduate of Point Park University acting program. Past roles include Thompson in The Sea at Point Park University, Raymond in Point Parks Pinnacle Productions The Book of Ruth, Saint Aphrodisiacs in The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Jonathon Beckas (Ensemble / Lesley / Mr. Braithewaithe, u/s/ Big Davey) Jonathan is so excited to be working with the cast and Crew of Billy Elliot. Some of his recent work include, Prince charming in Cinderella, Trainer in Elephant’s Graveyard, and Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet. Jonathan thanks everyone at Billy Elliot for a wonderful and exciting show.
Jessica Bell (Debbie / Ballet Girl) is in 9th grade at Mars Area High School, and has been training at KSMT Academy for two years. She has performed in several musicals at KSMT, and is very excited to make BILLY ELLIOT her first professional show.
Lauren Brendel (Dead Mum / Ensemble) is so excited for her first production with Keystone State! Last summer she was seen as Marie in The Summer Company’s Come Back, Little Sheba. Other credits include Footloose (Ariel), 42nd Street (Dorothy), and Children of Eden (Yonah). Lauren is a current theatre major at James Madison University.
Katie Broecker (Susan / Ballet Girl) is eight years old and excited to be in her third musical with KSMT! She has been dancing since preschool and training with KSMT since summer 2014. Previous musicals include We Are Monsters (Vanny) and Music Man Kids (Gracie Shinn). Katie is a Showbiz Kidz member and enjoys performing with KSMT!
Cynthia Dougherty (Grandma) was last seen on stage in August of 2016 in Edinburgh, where she played the role of Mother in “Danny Girl” as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Cynthia has performed at Stage 62 most recently as Diana Goodman in “Next to Normal,” and Eva Peron in “Evita.”
Nick Folino (Ensemble / us Michael & us Mr Braithewaithe) is so happy to make his Pro series debut in Billy Elliot. Nick trains in theater at the Keystone State Music Theater Performing Arts Academy, & can be seen in many of the Academy Musicals. His favorites include Crazy For You (Bobby), and All Shook Up.
Ella Gemperlein (Angela / Ballet Girl ) is 11 years old, & has been enrolled at Keystone Musical Academy for two years. She has been in multiple KSMT musicals and showcases. Ella will be in 6th grade at Evans City Elementary. She loves to play with her cats, video games and draw.
Rachel Henne (Angela / Ballet Girl) has been involved with musical theater for 7 years including many shows with Sing Hosanna!, Act One and KSMT. The highlight of her experiences was performing as Jovie in KSMT’s Elf Jr. Rachel studies six days a week with KSMT and thanks the staff, her family and God.
Leah Krumenacker (Sharon / Ballet Girl) is a third grader at Seneca Valley. She began her dance instruction at the age of two, and has been training with KSMT since 2015. She is thrilled to be performing in her fifth musical, BILLY ELLIOT. Her previous credits include WILLY WONKA, JR. (Super Oompa) and THE MUSIC MAN, KIDS (Amaryllis).
Sarah McKinley (Tracey / Ballet Girl) is excited to be in her eleventh show at KSMT! She loves to spend most of her time in the studio, whether she is learning a new dance or helping her instructors! Sarah would like to thank her family and teachers for their love and support.

John Neurohr (Older Billy / Ens/ us Billy) John is very excited to be part of his first show with KSMT. John is a recent graduate of North Allegheny Senior High School and is currently studying musical theater at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. He would like to thank all of his family and friends for their endless love and support.
J. Alex Noble* (Dad) is ecstatic to be joining KSMT for Billy Elliot. His most recent roles include Bunsen in Newsies for Pittsburgh CLO, Jehan Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame for PMT, and Cartherlawn in Sive for PICT Classic theater. He has also appeared on stage with Pittsburgh Public Theater, West Virginia Public Theater, Stage Right!, and The CLO Cabaret. Alex is a proud graduate of Point Park University, and a Pittsburgh native. He has been a member of Actor's Equity since 2012.
Sam O’Neill (Michael) is excited to make his professional debut in Billy Elliot this summer. Some of his previous roles include: Buddy (Elf the Musical Jr.), Chad (All Shook Up Jr.), and Shrek (Shrek the Musical Jr.). Sam studies at the Academy and is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Sandi Oshaben (Ensemble / u/s Mrs Wilkerson) is thrilled to be taking the stage with the cast and crew of "Billy Elliot." A proud AMDA-NY alum, Sandi most recently finished touring with the National Theatre for Children, and has also previously swashbuckled on the three rivers as Victoria in "A Pirate's Tale." Erika Shirrell (Ensemble / u/s Dead Mum) is very excited to be in her first show at KSMT. Originally from Kansas, Erika has moved to Pittsburgh to pursue her career as a flight attendant but loves all the acting opportunities in the area as well. Erika would like to thank the artistic team for the opportunity!
Savannah Slencak (Alison / Ballet Girl) is thrilled to perform in BILLY ELLIOT. She trains at KSMT Academy and has enjoyed being in their musical productions. She was most recently seen as Patsy/Follies Girl in CRAZY FOR YOU. Thanks to her family for all of their support!
Cody Sweet (George) joins Keystone State Music Theater fresh from his critically acclaimed performance as Mrs Bumbrake in Stage 62's Peter and the Starcatcher. Favorite Roles: Jesus (Godspell), Albert (It Shoulda Been You), Smokey (Damn Yankees), Seymour (Little Shop). Cody also frequently works with Mariposa Theater for Young Audiences in Bellevue.
Hayden Unitas (Keely / Ballet Girl) is 15 and goes to Pine-Richland High School. She has recently been seen in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Wife/ Featured Dancer) and Crazy For You (Margie/ Folly). She is very excited to be a part of the wonderful cast of Billy Elliot.
Madrid Vinarski (Ensemble/us Grandma) is delighted to be working with KSMT for the first time! Recent credits around Pittsburgh include Throughline’s In the Next Room: or the Vibrator Play (Mrs. Daldry), the Strand Theater’s Children of Eden (Aphra/Snake), and RMU’s summer production of Urinetown (Ms. Millenium). Carolyn Violi (Music Director) holds a BS in Music Ed from IUP and taught in Indiana County. Professional credits: Conductor/National Tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Michael Kosarin/Music Supervisor), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (with Chris Saunders!), The Goodbye Girl, and keyboard for the Wicked, Color Purple and Spamalot Tours. Local theaters: PMT, PGH Playhouse, Pitt, Upstairs Theatre and JCC. Current job is resident Musical Director/Accompanist for the BFA program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her most recent project is co-producer for Chasing Rainbows: The Road to Oz, which just had a development lab in NYC (previous run at Goodspeed Opera) and is associated with Hello Dolly! starring Bette Midler. Carolyn is ecstatic to work with such a talented cast, crew and again with Chris S!
Sarah Fabiani (Stage Manager) is beyond excited to work on her first show with KSMT. After touring with Missoula Children’s Theater, she started working at the Regional Learning Alliance where she met the amazing KSMT team! Favorite past credits include Into the Woods (SM), Marvelous Wonderettes (Suzy), & Dog Sees God (Marcy).
Al Wiegand (Technical Director) has built all the KSMT sets and handled all the technical details of sound and lighting since 2014. Prior to KSMT he was lead carpenter for a theater in Puyallup WA, where he built sets for 42nd Street, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Fiddler on the Roof, Anything Goes, and Oliver!
Missy Nowakowski (Costume Designer) is thrilled to be designing costumes for Billy Elliot. Recent KSMT projects include Crazy for You, Willy Wonka, Jr. and Always Patsy Cline. Other recent designs include CAPA, CLO Academy, RMU, Stage 62, and many local schools. Missy is also an instructor for the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.
Chris Saunders (Director & Choreographer, Producing Artistic Director) is an acclaimed director & choreographer whose work has been seen on stages near and far - from New York to New Delhi. He had appeared on Broadway’s largest stage, Radio City Music Hall, with the Radio City Christmas Spectacular along side the Rockettes. He association with the Spectacular has spanned a decade and has taken him from New York, to Detroit, Toronto, Pheonix, Costa Mesa and Chicago. Chris’s choreography has been seen across the country in the celebrated 10th Anniversary National Tour of Footloose. He has directed the East Coast Premiere of Nunset Boulevard: Nunsense at the Hollywood Bowl at the Arundel Barn Playhouse in Kennebunkport, Maine. Chris has had a long collaboration with the West Virginia Public Theater, where his direction and/or choreography has been in the Marvelous Wonderettes, Godspell, Cats, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Hairspray, Chicago, Fiddler & High School Musical. Other credits include: Happy Days: The Musical at LaComedia Dinner Theater in Ohio; How to Succeed in Business…, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels & Full Monty at Theatre-by-the-Sea in Rhode Island; The Melody Lingers On: The Music of Irving Berlin at Surflight Theatre in New Jersey; The Sound of Music at the Jenny Wiley Theater in Kentucky. In addition to his work behind the scenes, Chris is a critically praised performer. He work has been seen across the country in 50+ productions. Favorites include: Cats, the regional premiere at Chicago’s Marriott Theater; Carousel at the Fulton Theater; Swing! at the Sacramento Music Circus and Houston’s Theater Under the Stars; Seven Brides for Seven Brothers the National Tour; Damn Yankees at Boston’s North Shore Music Theater; West Side Story at Utah’s Pioneer Theater. Chris has been a part of Pittsburgh theater for twenty years. Highlights include directing Hairspray at Pittsburgh Musical Theater, performances in Grand Hotel at the Pittsburgh Playhouse, eight productions with the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, and 20+ with Pittsburgh Musical Theater. Chris is also a sought out educator. He is an adjudicator with Headliners National Performance Competition, and has taught classes at Carnegie Mellon University, Point Park University & Slippery Rock University. Chris now calls Cranberry Township his home with his wife Alison Rose. He is excited about all the future endeavors with the KSMT, and creating a valuable institution for the region.
