Chris is an acclaimed director & choreographer whose work
has been seen on stages near and far - from New York to
New Delhi. He had appeared on Broadway’s largest stage,
Radio City Music Hall, with the Radio City Christmas
Spectacular along side the Rockettes. He association with
the Spectacular has spanned a decade and has taken him
from New York, to Detroit, Toronto, Pheonix, Costa Mesa
Chris’s choreography has been seen across the country in
the celebrated 10th Anniversary National Tour of Footloose.
He has directed the East Coast Premiere of Nunset Boulevard: Nunsense at the Hollywood Bowl at the Arundel Barn Playhouse in Kennebunkport, Maine. Chris has had a long collaboration with the West Virginia Public Theater, where his direction and/or choreography has been in the Marvelous Wonderettes, Godspell, Cats, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Hairspray, Chicago, Fiddler & High School Musical. Other credits include: Happy Days: The Musical at LaComedia Dinner Theater in Ohio; How to Succeed in Business…, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels & Full Monty at Theatre-by-the-
Sea in Rhode Island; The Melody Lingers On: The Music of Irving Berlin at Surflight Theatre in New Jersey; The Sound of Music at the Jenny Wiley Theater in Kentucky.
In addition to his work behind the scenes, Chris is a critically praised performer. He work has been seen across the country in 50+ productions. Favorites include: Cats, the regional premiere at Chicago’s Marriott Theater; Carousel at the Fulton Theater; Swing! at the Sacramento Music Circus and Houston’s Theater Under the Stars; Seven Brides for Seven Brothers the National Tour; Damn Yankees at Boston’s North Shore Music Theater; West Side Story at Utah’s Pioneer Theater.
Chris has been a part of Pittsburgh theater for twenty years. Highlights include directing Hairspray at Pittsburgh Musical Theater, performances in Grand Hotel at the Pittsburgh Playhouse, eight productions with the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, and 20+ with Pittsburgh Musical Theater.
Chris is also a sought out educator. He is an adjudicator with Headliners National Performance Competition, and has taught classes at Carnegie Mellon University, Point Park University & Slippery Rock University.
Chris now calls Cranberry Township his home with his wife Alison Rose. He is excited about all the future endeavors with the KSMT, and creating a valuable institution for the region.

Alison Rose is an adored international performer. She has
had a nine year relationship with the Radio City Christmas
Spectacular, starring the Rockettes. Alison has appeared on
Broadway's Radio City Music Hall as Mrs. Claus in the
Spectacular, and has toured 20+ cities across the continent,
and Canada in the production as one of their singers. She
has perform for over 1 million people as part of the show!
She has starred in Disney Cruise Lines' award winning
productions as Cinderella, Ann Marie, and Princess
Angelina, and has danced across Europe with Royal
Caribbean Cruise Lines.
Alison's performance career began in Chicago, where she appeared in the regional premiere of Cats, West Side Story, and The Pajama Game at the Marriot Lincolnshire Theater. While in the Windy City, she also appeared in A Chorus Line as Val, and Singin' in the Rain as Cathy Seldon. Alison continued to find much success in regional productions of Carousel, Cats, Mame, Barnum (a spanish web aerialist), 42nd Street and the National Tour of Wizard of Oz.
Alison has also choreographed for the hit NICKELODEON show Supah Ninjas! She worked the show's stars to custom tailor cheerleading choreography for George Takei, as well as the Supah Ninjas themselves, and guest star Ciara Bravo.
Alison has choreographed Fiddler on the Roof, and Legally Blonde, and worked together with her husband Chris Saunders as assistant director in Hairspray at Pittsburgh Musical Theater, and assistant choreographer for other regional shows such as High School Musical, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Melody Lingers On, Footloose, & The Marvelous Wonderettes.
Since moving to the Pittsburgh area, she has performed in the PCLO’s Jekyll & Hyde, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Sound of Music & the world premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Love Changes Everything.
