Lead Instructor

Claire Sabatine (Lead Instructor) is a Pittsburgh-based actor and teaching artist. Recent Acting Credits: Celeste in Starshine! at the EQT Children’s Theater Festival, Flow Fogg in Up & Away at The Rose Theater in Omaha, Taylor in Black Ballerina at Pittsburgh Public Theater - Playtime Series; various lead roles in City Theatre's Young Playwright’s Festival, and as Casey in a reading of Very Berry Dead at Big Storm Performance Company. She serves as Jumping Jack Theater’s Artistic Director and lead teaching artist in classroom residencies, creating original works for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Claire has worked with folks of all ages around the country at organizations such as the Children's Theatre of Charlotte, Hartford Stage, Pittsburgh Center for the Arts and Media, and more. She is also an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Pittsburgh Dept. of Theatre Arts and a coach/judge for the Shakespeare Monologue and Scene Competition for Pittsburgh Public Theater. In 2018, Claire represented Jumping Jack Theater at the Big Umbrella Festival at Lincoln Center, the world’s first month-long festival dedicated to arts programs for children on the autism spectrum and their families.
