Delaney Martin
Instructor
Delaney Martin is a performer and instructor with over 15 years of theater experience in the Pittsburgh area. She is a former KSMT student from KSMT’s early years and has worked at KSMT in various ways throughout the past years as an assistant and substitute instructor. She has a BA in English from Grove City College, and while in school, continued training in acting and dance classes, performed in nine musicals and plays, and gained experience in other facets of theater including stage crew and lights, directing a student-written play, co-directing a one act play, and co-choreographing the children’s theater musical, Madagascar – A Musical Adventure Jr. Miss Delaney is also involved in Pittsburgh community theater. Her recent performing credits include, at Grove City College: Jean MacLaren in Brigadoon, Audrey West in End of the World with Symposium to Follow (for which she received nomination to audition for the Irene Ryan Scholarship at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival), and John Dickinson in 1776; and at Stage 62: Ensemble in Anything Goes and Singer in Stage 62’s 60th Anniversary Concert.
