
Amy Yatta
Resident Artist / Lead Instructor and Office Administrator
Amy is a Pittsburgh-based dancer, choreographer, and educator. She earned her BFA in Dance with a concentration in Jazz and a minor in Musical Theater from Point Park University after training at The Grier School. Her performance experience includes works presented by the Pittsburgh Playhouse, CorningWorks, the National High School Dance Festival, and the Koresh Dance Festival. Her choreography spans both concert dance and musical theater, with works created for Point Park University, Dance Conservatory of Pittsburgh, The Grier School, and Tyrone Community Players. Her recent performance credits include serving as Dance Captain and performing in the tap ensemble of Something Rotten! (Paragon Theater), an experience that renewed both her love of performing and her passion for teaching. Amy has also taught as a guest instructor throughout the Pittsburgh area. She is passionate about creating an encouraging, energetic classroom where students can build technical skills, confidence, and artistry while developing a lifelong love of dance and musical theater.
